in their new location in the Heights on 11th and Yale! Nom nom nom... this place is awesome because their cookies are good, they warm them up and do their specialty thing, deliver to that special person! Great idea and perfect for my referral business!
Mmm...the Blue Popeye (Almond Butter, Blueberries, Coconut Milk, Vanilla Protein, Vanilla Extract, Spinach) from Fuel, best when I’m on the go go go!
Wow this place has some really cool, authentic spices! Go prepared for strong odors, it’ll knock you off your feet. I think I spent less than a few minutes in this place and I walked out smelling like spices. But really cool place for spices.
Wow, this place was impressive! I mean every square inch of wall space was taken by these cases of baked goods. To say I was overwhelmed was an understatement! I realized the popular 85C Bakery had a similar self-serve style where you pick up a large tray and tongs and have at it! I did not know where to start, to be honest. There were barely any labels and I had no idea what all the items were. I had to look at what people were getting and I did recognize a few things like the churros, chocolate chewy cookie, coconut macaron, which I bought along with several other things.
So I loved the authenticity of this place, mostly Latin customers, but I’ll be honest, I wasn’t that impressed with the pastries. I only took a few bites of most of what I bought and will say, I have had much tastier experiences. However, no horrible experiences, it was all decent, just have had better. Anyway, that’s all I have to say about that...oh wait, one more thing...it was super inexpensive. All of what I got, which were 2 bag fulls cost me $8. Not a bad bakery for decent pastries. The wedding cookies were good.
Delicious! If you like vegan kind of meals.
I didn’t love my breakfast but it wasn’t bad. Actually it was pretty good. Definitely good for what I ordered, Southwest Scramble (egg whites only). Just not what I typically order, I’ll try the traditional breakfast next time and report back.
Really enjoyed my power grain bowl add chicken, quite delicious if I must say. And I’m also really liking this location, which is very close to my office. This will definitely be a regular for lunch spots. My only complaint is it gets expensive, these 2 dishes, 1 Bloody Mary and a chocolate cake all came out to $80! 😲
I plan to be back in the morning with my breakfast crew, will report back in breakfast.
Also, they are currently in soft opening mode, grand opening happens later this month.
is the best and only $11! Now that’s a great haircut for a great, reasonable price! Which is the best deal I have found out there, so expensive at all of those kiddie places.
Found me a new hairstylist and so far so good, love her! I found her through someone I saw out and about and loved her color and cut and Tristan was her stylist.
Are easily found at Central Market!
Love that they have this legit coffee shop at church!
Beautiful day for taking this baby out for a ride!
Biscuit was delicious, but at $14 this one you might want to skip...
So far, from my 2 visits, for dinner, no reservations, have been pretty great. It’s not just the food, though the oysters were delicious and small, like I like them...but it was also the atmosphere. It’s something about the dim, cozy lighting in there that makes it really conducive for the 2 date nights we had there. By the way, I suggest making reservations because though neither do the days we happen to have them, we were able to eat, but once at the bar, which wasn’t so bad. However, the dining area is better. Something about this place reminds of a ski lodge. If they only had a fireplace it would be perfect! Anyway, I love ski lodges so I’m a little nostalgic, but anyway, I enjoyed my food, the atmosphere and service very much. Definitely go try this one!
I have to say, our meal was kind of a creative and fancy adult breakfast. Not the kind of place to go if you’re craving waffles and pancakes. Venezuelan inspired. Everything is quite beautiful and tasty. My pals said the coffee was really good. Love the decor of the restaurant. I did like the creativity, but it’s not a regular breakfast kind of place to me. I heard they have a fabulous lunch and just recently opened for dinner...which I would be more inclined to return for. Definitely an interesting place.
I thought this place was so cute. Same owners as B&B Butchers and across the street. Much more casual than its older sibling, and each dining area is intimate and quaint. I love it! It feels like a small mom and pop. I had the grilled cheese, decadent. I saved half of it and devoured the other half later. Everything heavy, but delicious. I’d really like to take my husband by, he would love it.
She’s here! Our official company vehicle…isn’t she a cutie? Honk if you see us around town!
Seriously delicious salads...healthy, not so much.
Was I ready for some social time! Hello tasty little drink and interesting new and very mature bar...not quite what I was expecting but glad I could have my much needed girl time anyway, thanks Jessie. Great for a quiet night or romantic date w/ hopes of lots of💋💋💋😄
Always an annual favorite event! You know with 2 little ones, it’s hard to get out regularly, but when we do Lights in the Heights is always one of our must dos! And everyone we introduce to it absolutely love it. We did have one bad experience, from that we have learned, no middle schoolers please. They’re in that too cool for school stage when really that age group is the least interesting...haha.
